They sent a balance due bill months after service, although I had paid my portion of the fees and my insurance paid more than they had anticipated. So they actually received more than the agreed fees at the time of service.

I saw Dr. Allen McCall at the Maitland location and wanted to leave my experience with his other patients! Dr. McCall is truly exceptional. I had postponed my procedure multiple times and even consulted another oral surgeon, but from the moment I met Dr. McCall, I immediately felt confident that I was in excellent hands. During my initial appointment, he clearly explained the treatment plan and addressed all of my concerns with patience and expertise. Just one week later, I returned for the procedure feeling completely at ease—something I hadn’t thought possible given my prior anxiety. Dr. McCall’s depth of knowledge, professionalism, and reassuring approach made all the difference. I am incredibly grateful that something I had delayed for so long is now successfully behind me, thanks to his care. If you happen to see this, Dr. McCall—thank you.

Dr. Allen McCall was so good with me. I was afraid and was nervous about my root canal. But his gentleness put me at ease and he is very good at what he does. The entire staff made me feel welcome- very unusual in today’s environment.

Dr McCall is an excellent orthodontist. I will travel any distance for his service. He is very knowledgeable and patient. His staff especially Ro is an excellent assistant and very knowledgeable in her duties. The office staff is very helpful and polite. I arrived 20 minutes late due to the traffic and distance because of that I had to twist longer than I expected. The work done on me was very thorough. I am grateful to know Dr McCall for his service, time and patience.

I will start by saying the literal service of a root canal I received was fine. But I cannot state enough how poorly Dr. Allen McCall handled the emotional aspect of my experience. I’m not one who needs to be coddled in any way, but the injection on the inside of my upper palate hurt a lot. I expected this and he prepped me for some pain, but the discomfort was strong and connected to deep emotions of a horrible root canal experience from 10 years ago. He dismissed my tears saying that coldly, “you’re fine, just breathe” and quickly left after numbing me. Of *course* I knew I would be fine, but that doesn’t mean a moment of compassion for the discomfort wouldn’t have gone a long way. Luckily, James, the assistant, was so kind and compassionate with me after Dr. McCall left the room. He never spoke ill of the doctor - but just comforted me like the human I am. I was shaken up but thought ‘oh well, so his bedside manner isn’t great. I’ll deal.’ After the procedure, which went fine, Dr. M told me I was good to go and he’d get me a prescription for antibiotics. Now, if you’re at all like me, antibiotics come with a decent list of side effects for me. In my case, horrible yeast infecti
